KIDBOOK Animals was a toddler app built around a seemingly endless mosaic of animal photographs and sounds. Under its deliberately simple interface sat custom scheduling and incremental JPEG decoding designed to keep scrolling smooth on memory-constrained mobile hardware.

Stars

Stars was a cross-platform mobile game about guiding a fallen star home. Looking back, its most interesting story is the engineering beneath a deliberately simple interaction: C++, Marmalade, OpenGL, Box2D, Spine, cross-compilation and a lot of on-device testing.
